    Substitute Leonard for Harkless.
    Then trade a 1st and Turner for Evans and expiring.

    If Mirotic becomes a FA, it'd give us $10M in cap space. Trade away Harkless and a 2nd for space and wed have $19M to resign Evans woth, and then a $13M and $9M trade exception to restock the roster with.

    Asik and Leonard are both equally useless, however I think Asik is only guaranteed full $10M a year through 2018-19 only while $3M is guaranteed in 19-20.

    I can't believe that Asik will earn over $80M playing basketball. I have no words.

    I was getting ready to say that. Plus it affects our playoff race. IMO it's more news worthy than most 'around the NBA' stuff in that it more directly affects the Blazers than most NBA news.

    Not sure what the holdup is for. If he is worth a 1st now, he should be worth a first in the offseason too.

    They want to keep cap space to resign Cousins.

    I also reckon Mirotic should be tradeable in the Summer but this is the team that thought Asik was worth $10M a season, they have all the reason in the world to be careful now.

    Terrible Contract + 1st rounder for Good (Rotation) Player.

    We have a 1st round pick, and we've got some Terrible Contracts :)
