we give up 3 of our tight rotation players and Noah, a bunch of draft pick considerations, and don't give up any bad contracts...for 1/3 season of DJ and whatever the hell Rose is right now? Hell yeah, sign me up.

I'd completely forgotten about Bill Simmons.

I just don't see Jordan as being enough of an upgrade to make a huge difference for the team's chances.

I would much rather roll with Nurk for the next 6 years than Jordan for 1/3 a season.

If Jordan were the one missing piece that you might add to a team that's already considered a likely Finals participant, the gamble and rental might be worth it.

No, there are tons of videos of him flopping, this is the only one where his flopping leads him to get injured that I could find. Unless ur saying he’s not flopping? If a brush of an elbow makes him fly across the court than he needs to put the weight back on.

Making this up?? It doesn’t take a genius to realize if they trade Nurk they plan on Collins being the COTF, what else would it mean? You think they are gonna trade their 23 year old starting center to find Collins a back up at PF? Lol, Man some of you need to open your eyes.

I stick with Nurk, and let him develop. Yes DJ is a better rebounder, but that's it. Nurk is a more skilled offensive player, and plays quality defense. Nurks ceiling is wayyyy higher.

Dame doesn't have forever to wait around for players to develop.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
If Jordan were anywhere near Nurkic's age, I'd much rather have Jordan. I'm down on a Jordan trade largely because I think he's begun his decline phase--this is either a third-of-a-season rental or Portland will have to pay a lot for every decline year he stays for. Since this isn't a title contender this year, with or without Jordan, I don't really want to give up any significant value for him as a rental or as a re-sign candidate.

    thats true

but DeAndre Jordan wouldnt be a significant upgrade over Nurk, if upgrade at all... and he aint wining shit with DeAndre Jordan either, so Id say for the sake of this franchise we should keep talented 23 yo with upside, instead of bringing soon to be 30 yo who wouldnt take this team anywhere

god give you all a brain, use it...

Can’t wait to see McCollum ignore DeAndres rim pointing sixteen times a game.

CJ will just interpret that as Jordan telling him to shoot.

    Lmfao.

But seriously, if anyone should go it’s CJ. He’s our best trade chip. But I’m sure Olshey will go down with him.

    I diiiid it myyy wayyy
