That hit on Cooks was brutal. That's the problem with dancing around, you're just setting yourself up to get smashed.
That was an entertaining first half. Both coaching staffs are really good, they're smart about the risk/reward decisions. Both teams went for a fourth down where it made sense to do so. The Eagles have made a couple significant mistakes (Ertz's false start on second-and-goal from the 2, the blown coverage on the Patriots' first drive) but in general they seem capable of winning the game. Foles Magic continues--he's made some impressive throws, short, intermediate and deep. I'd say his only mistake so far was trying to make a tightly-contested pass on third down rather than running for the first down midway through the second quarter. If that's the biggest mistake he makes tonight, the Eagles probably win.
