It was good. Not a huge football fan but if you missed it you missed out. Just the eli and Odell doing dirty dancing was worth it.
National media only knows about the patriots. lmfao so glad they lost. It'll be bearable. Except Colin cowherd. He'll be silent for 4 hours as he can never talk bad about Tom Brady. Which is good, cause Colin is insufferable.
The winners are the eagles and the people who were smart enough to not get sucked into the commercialism. Which is me.
More than a bit. They were sucking the patriots dick the whole game. "That wasn't a touchdown" "He wasn't a runner" whaaa whaaa whaaa...."Why are the Eagles going for it on 4th down"
Awesome game, one of the best Super Bowls. There have been some great ones lately after a history of lots of blowouts. Weird reading through the thread and seeing people complaining about the announcers having a New England bias. Brady was legitimately amazing (for any age, but when you consider he's 40...). It would have been bizarre for them not to praise him. They spent plenty of time praising Foles and Pederson. For me, Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth is the best football announcing team. I'm glad NBC had the Super Bowl. It was strange, though, listening to Collinsworth argue that that last touchdown wasn't a catch. He seems to think any dive that happens soon after a catch is "part of the process" which is weird. It was obvious that the receiver caught the ball, took two steps and then intentionally lunged forward to try to get into the end zone. He wasn't diving or falling in order to make the catch. Anyway, amazing game. Loved every minute of it. Philadelphia's defense almost cost the Eagles a title on Nick Foles' greatest night of football (considering both performance and stakes) and then redeemed themselves at the end.
If they call a fumble a fumble, if Seattle hands off and if Atlanta doesn't have the biggest 2nd half meltdown of all time, the Patriots aren't looking so good. Finally a team didn't give away the SuperBowl. Love it that a backup QB beat the Pats.....out-freakin-standing!!!
You can say what if for every game ever played... what’s your point. Brady still has 5 rings and has played in 8 Super Bowls out of 17 years ~ 47% of his career. He will get over this loss and his life will always be better than yours. Haters gonna hate and ain’ters gonna ain’t.
