Tigers have Casey, Polanco, Guillen, Inge, and Pudge Rodriguez. Pretty solid lineup there.Baltimore might have the best infield.1B: Aubrey Huff2B: Brian Roberts3B: Melvin Mora, one of the most underrated players in the gameSS: Miguel TejadaC: Ramon Hernandez

Baltimore has like top 5 or maybe top 3, not the best.If you go position by position, the Yankees kill em.1B: Huff/Millar vs. Mientkiewicz/Giambi - Yankees here. Giambi is a great hitter, can't field, but Mientkiewicz makes up for it in the field. Doug Mientkiewicz can show some solid hitting at the plate, but he'll probably only hit .255 all season out there. Huff is a solid hitter, a decent fielder, and Millar is subpar both in the field and at the plate.2B: Roberts vs. Cano - Either way, but I'll take New York. Roberts isn't as young as Cano, and Cano is already starting to gain ground on him. Roberts has had like 2-3 solid, and real good seasons, and so has Cano so it's really a toss up here. In about 2 years it's not even going to be a debate...but for now it's a toss up.3B: Mora vs. Rodriguez - Yankees. I've seen Mora a few times in person, and on TV as the Yankees play them all the time. Mora obviously isn't near the level of A-Rod, but I'll admit he goes under the radar. In the field and at the plate, A-Rod is cleary better.SS: Tejada vs. Jeter - Either way, I'll go Yankees. They are about even in the field, but Tejada hits for a little more power, but Jeter hits for a better average. Jeter hit about .340 last year if I'm not mistaken, and drove in 100 or so with a few big flys himself. Jeter is a winner, Tejada isn't. I'll take Jeter if I'm drafting a SS.C: Posada vs. Hernandez - Yankees. Really not even close for me, Hernandez has come on in the past few seasons, but Posada has been Mr. Consistent for the past 5-10 seasons. He is supposed to decline when you get past 32 as a Catcher, but he's just as good as he's always been, and lets not forget that his defense has improved tremendously over the past couple seasons.Overall, NYY FTW!
