The Hornets(34-40) will try to win their fourth straight game when they play the Sonics(30-44) on Wednesday night. New Orleans will need an extra win with another game against the Suns on Friday. The Sonics are still alive in the playoff race, but may be too far behind to catch up. Expect Seattle to play their best though, they won't take this game lightly.Season Series: Seattle leads 2-1Key Matchup: Rashard Lewis Vs Desmond Mason
I watched the first 3 minutes of this game. I hate watching local Hornets games. On Cox. The quality is so low, it's like watching a game from the 80's. I hope Hornets win also
The Hornets really need this win to stay alive in the playoff race. I think they can get it done, I'm rooting for em!
48-45 at the half. West leads the Hornets with 12 points and 8 rebounds. This is interesting, CP3 only has 4 points, but he has 5 assists and 8 rebounds. This kid is versatile!! :dribble:

B.Jak hits a 3!!!!! 10-3 run in OT!!! Hornets on top 94-87 with 2:26 left in the first OT! Another shot would put this game away!
It's final, the Hornets prevail 101-92 in OT! They have won three straight and are 35-40! Stay tuned for the recap!
Recap: The Hornets scored a franchise-low six points in the fourth quarter, lost Tyson Chandler to a toe injury in the first, Desmond Mason left the game after being elbowed in the face by Chris Wilcox, and they let Rashard Lewis get hot and score 27 points. But they still finished the game when they needed to. The Hornets(35-40) extended their winning-streak to three games as they enter Friday's contest against the Suns. David West led the Hornets with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Bobby Jackson came off the bench and scored another 18, and Rasual Butler hit four of his seven three-point attempts to contribute 16 points. Chris Paul needed one more assist for a triple-double, finishing with 11 points, 11 boards and nine assists. The injuries to Chandler and Mason will be evaluated to see if they can suit up for Friday's game. The Sonics(30-45) dropped themselves even further down the standings and have basically eliminated themselves for good. Earl Watson came off the bench and scored 16 points for the Sonics, who have lost three in a row.Leaders of the Night:SonicsR. Lewis- 27pts 10rebD. Wilkins- 16ptsE. Watson- 16pts 4reb 4astHornetsD.
