Walton is quite possibly, the best announcer of all time.

He's improved...I gotta say when he started out...Snapper had to steer him back to the game constantly...the dude can wander off like a tumbleweed on mushrooms...the photo negative of Hubie Brown although neither can shut up

Walton can be hilarious but the best was Steve Snapper Jones and it's not even close...

Then he's a double threat because he's the best post player I ever saw.

Sorry guys, he makes watching the games almost unwatchable. It would be one thing if he actaully was funny, but he really isn’t. I think he gets a pass in these parts by viewers because of his history here.

I've been around Bill Walton away from basketball...watched him play pickup games in San Diego before he was famous and ran into him in N Cal many times as we have mutual friends there...nice guy but basketball announcing is not his strong suit at all in my view...he does better on Pac12 network than NBA games....he knows the college game well...he just likes to play Ram Dass the spiritual hippie when he should keep his attention on the game

The good thing is it’ll be a three person crew so Walton can just focus on getting high and going off on Bach.
