I was listening to Rip City Radio with Travis and Chad the other day and they were saying the same thing. That he's soft. That he wilts under pressure. They questioned his desire to play basketball. It's not just BE. It's some of the media as well.
I have an issue with Blazers Edge because they try too hard to be clever with their headlines and are terribly misleading. Also Dave there tends to get out of his lane of being a reporter and is far too often the knee jerk reaction fan boy to be reliable as anything resembling a news source.
This has nothing to do with blazers edge. Nurk was a HUGE baby in Denver that’s why they shipped him out in the first place. What are you even talking about right now?!
They basically said he could dominate when he wanted to, but that he was mentally soft. They played an interesting clip of Evan Turner being interviewed after the game and someone asked him what he thought about Nurk's "injury" and Turner just kinda laughed and said "I don't know man...." So they're saying that his teammates think he quit on them as well. Not sure how true that is. This certainly wouldn't be the first gifted player we've had who was naturally talented, but didn't really put in the work to be great. Sheed and Darius Miles come to mind.
As far as BE goes I'm not a big fan...sort of members asking Dave questions and then applauding his answers...I do like Eric Gunderson's editorials and Dan Marang can be interesting...members here chased him away if I remember right...all in all...if I'm on yahoo I'll get steered to their site for Blazers news and read the articles...have no problem with it but I prefer this place

Don’t take my word for it... seriously... go look at the Denver fans boards about the whole thing. They were saying the exact same things we are now. Can’t finish around the hoop, bad attitude, pouty, soft these are the things they were saying about him... how do you think we got a 1st rounder and nurk for plums. Lol just cause you have this idea of who he was last year does not make it the norm for him. This year is the real nurk.

Dr Meyers Leonard here..... Via my learnings from from the bench during games and hearing fans cheer me on and beg for me to be put into the game to nail them swish3s or back down a guard a foot shorter than me from 12ft out and shoot a missing fadeaway, to just people demanding more gym photos of me working out, i have deducted that Trailblazer fans are among the top echelon of knowledgeable fans in the game - in fact they are #2, due me obviously being #1 with my ridiculous BBIQ.
