I worry not about the shooters health once he crosses the threshold armed with the intent of kill children.
    Bye bye asshole!

No, me either. What I'm saying is that how do we really know the teacher's mental health? Or that we can keep his gun from someone. I could beat the hell out of every teacher I had after middle school and take the gun.

A non lethal force would be safer for the other kids too. Have a fully automatic tranq gun and spray and pray at the shooter. If you hit an innocent kid he'll probably be ok if he doesn't take too many shots.

Well, I have tried to use a Tranq gun, on my ranch some years ago. Not real fast acting. Darts not fast, drugs not so fast. So I am not be really impressed with the possibility of facing rifle armed with a Trang gun, I am pretty sure 99 times out of a 100, you will die.

I could be wrong, maybe there is one that works as fast as a bullet today. But would that blow a huge hole in the target?

Not sure what to do with you. Maybe just graduate you early and make you guard the door. Under the supervision of the guy with a quick draw of course.

Just hope kids don’t get their hands on them, cause they will for sure go to school and start torching motherfuckers.

The way you stop a bad guy with a flamethrower is a good guy with one.

But giant mistake by the flamethrower industry, they should call them Fire Guns so they are constitutionally protected.

Doesn't the AR in AR-15 stand for Advanced Roasting?

I actually had to fight a guy I suspect was like you. Probably more ways than one. Big fella, 6'5" or 6" probably 280.
I was only about tad over 6'3" around 210. The saddest part of this, is I actually thought I had to do it. To keep him from harm! He was hell bent for finding trouble.

In retrospect, I just handled it piss poorly as the leader. This failure bugged me for years. He ended up in the hospital ward on the Destroyer tender in Naha Okinawa. The last look I had of him as we got him to the tender was, bleeding from the eye, ears, nose, and swelling badly. Out cold for several days. I was in the damn brig in the bowels of this same tender, until this fellow came to, showing he was going to survive. Two maybe three days down there in the fucking dark not knowing shit! Living on Piss and punk. Lord, I felt like the king of fuck ups.

I did not even use deadly stuff I was taught, just hit him too hard, and too many. I could have used no force instead of taking the the bait, just have the people that run the establishment call the shore patrol and play along until they came. I even had others along that could have done this for me. Geez it is hard to learn sometimes, and few beers is no help.

I have stubby legs and long arms. Was helpful in not getting knocked back by guys my size.

Should have been a football player but I started late and hated it anyway.

A high school friend was a bouncer at Dodge City Saloon I think it was called, by where the old drive in was on Andresen in Vancouver???

He got fired for starting more fights than he stopped. Haha

My grandma thought I was handsome and she got mad every time I'd let a guy get a few free shots in. I'm sure I could have been knocked out by someone if they got the right shot in but it never came close to that, just pissed me off.

    Oh the good old days.

I often come up against men much heavier or taller than I am, and I am completely unafraid to make snarky remarks to them on the internet.

Short legs have there place. Like low gear, quick starts. Ha! Forget the 100 though. Really good for the 40 time.

That comment makes me remember another development manager back in the day I was one.
He was in the same Lab but not anything to do with my group. Like you I am sort of short legged for my height. It made for super contrast between the two of us. He was Back, I White. Super long legs vs short legs. His belt buckle was nearly at my breast pocket but we were both about 6'3".

You seem like a Montreal-loving Canadian sympathizer. Maybe you were Trudeau's love daddy...
