    I am so desperate for change, that I like this!

    Ahh, something new to watch. Finally. He can cover for McCollum's defense. If Rush does alright, this will cover the gap when Olshey trades McCollum.

    I knew about minimum payroll, but what's this about a minimum number of players? It changes during the season?

    Why did the league let us be at 13? My only theory is, we waived Rakovic the same day we signed Rush.

    It appears our roster was at 13 for 11 days, which is why I started asking about the 14 minimum. My theories were 1) the minimum changes during the season? Of course not. 2) The Baldwin addition counted? New situation this year. 3) Rakovich was waived 11 days after the Vonleh trade? No, we just owned his rights, but didn't sign him. 4) My new theory: Maybe they give teams a grace period after the Trade Deadline to return to 14?

    14 ...before Feb. 8
    13...Feb. 8...trade Vonleh for Milovan Rakovic rights, but do not sign Rakovic
    14...Feb. 19...sign Brandon Rush

    Why? Waiving Myers wouldn't release the team of his contract so there is no reason to just release him.

    How does a guy not playing in the rotation being waived make the roster better? We have 15 roster spots so it's no burden. Waiving him now would be foolish and not improve the team at all.

    Rakovic was never under contract - and so was never waived.

    We waived Rakovic? We never signed him. He was never on our roster. We traded for his rights should he ever come to the nba.
