so it seems a parkland survivor was supposed to read scripted questions at the town hall event the other night https://www.google.com/amp/www.nyda...cnn-gave-scripted-questions-article-1.3835718 A student who survived the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School said he refused to attend CNN’s town hall on the massacre because he was asked to read scripted questions. “CNN had originally asked me to write a speech and questions, and it ended up being all scripted,” junior Colton Haab told ABC affiliate Local 10 News Wednesday. U.S. Sens. Marco Rubio and Bill Nelson attended the town hall, held at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Fla. Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel and National Rifle Association spokeswoman Dana Loesch also heard from survivors. But Haab, a 17-year-old Junior ROTC member, who used Kevlar sheets to shield his classmates from gunfire declined an invitation to the event. “I expected to be able to ask my questions and give my opinion on my questions,” he told Local 10 News. The teenager hoped to provide suggestions for improving school safety, including using veterans as armed security guards at school. But he said he wasn’t allowed to voice his opinions. “I don’t think that it’s going to get anything accomplished. It’s not going to ask any of the true questions that all the parents and teachers and students have,” Haab told Local 10 News. After this kid came out, cnn made a statement claiming they never scripted questions... So why is it okay for cnn to exploit these kids for their own agenda? The past week all they have done is pander to audiences about it being about the kids, the kids! Yet you say this kid is lying? What reason does he have to lie? By the way, cnn has done this before. Does anybody recall. Remember when Donna Brazile shared scripted questions to Hillary Clinton? http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/d...estions-with-clinton-campaign/article/2617742 Go figure. This isn’t just about cnn, this is the current media’s issue. Ideology. Agendas. These aren’t real news outlets. At the end of the day it’s about ratings and half truths. If you’re on the right you go to Fox News. On the left? Go to cnn. They cater to each audience. It’s stupidity. Real journalism is dead.
Parkland shooting survivor's family shops doctored emails with CNN to media outlets http://www.businessinsider.com/park...doctored-cnn-emails-to-media-2018-2?r=UK&IR=T
CNN sucks and Wolf Blitzer is ancient too. The entire network employee staff should be sacked. I can't stand that source.
Nope, and if anything they'll just stick to their guns (pun intended) about how this was a conspiracy to get rid of all guns or that CNN is "fake" news. There could be live footage of Trump pissing on the flag while wiping his ass with the constitution and his backers would say it was during his private time so it doesn't matter. It's sad how many well thought out people have turned into sheep for Trump.
It is clear for all to see that CNN controls every word in this event and most of you defend it. So the dummy dad deleted a few words for no apparent reason, so what? What's even slightly dumber is that this kid didn't just play along and ask whatever he wanted when it was his turn.
For no apparent reason? It changes the whole jist of the email. It goes from it being what the kid sent in (the original edit) to implying it's what CNN sent him (in the dads edit). It's obvious the dad (and possibly the son) had an agenda going in the question. They thought they could out-smart the internet and continue the "CNN is fake news" meme that the President has propagated and they failed at it. That's why "so what"
Finally. A kid gives me hope for the future. Well done young man! Crush the fake news! Expose them for the liberal reptillians they are!
Uhhhh, the email as written is proof that CNN dictates the questions. Kid submitted one they found acceptable. Then the dimwits decided to delete one tiny part of the email and now other dimwitted people think CNN doesn't dictate what airs on their channel.
Exactly. The moron and his son could have pointed it out and been completely honest about it and still had a valid point. Now they just look like amateurs going up against professional narrators.
