What is your city/town famous for? Of course Memphis, we're famous for the music and food. And for some of the doctor and history community, Memphis University is a very well known place. We are very famous for our Egyptian studies at U of M, not just because the city is called "Memphis".We also have Memphis in May, where was celebrate a country every year and have a hige parade. This is also where the famous Memphis in May BBQ cookoff happens every year. If you know anything about cooking, you know what it is.Another event that is pretty awesome actually happened tonight, the Nike Hoop Summit. Its been here for 3 years I think(since Fedex Forum), and we get to see some future stars(my sister actually just saw Coach K).

Well, Winnipeg has one of the most extreme temperatures, and can be 40 below or worse in the winter and 40 above in the summer. For those who don't know celcius, -40 is -40 F, and +40 is somewhere in the 90-100 range I think. And look how far north we are.Other than that, it's a pritty-sh*tty city.
