I really don't know. At times I don't believe in god the least bit other times I feel like there is something else other than just this galaxy. Meh, I'm confused.

My family is Muslim, but I don't really care for religion. I believe in God, but with all the religions out there I'm not going to put myself in a single group because there's always some stupid belief or rule that I just don't agree with in every one.
as for me, I'm agnostic. I don't think there's any more proof of any religion than any other.I do believe in a lot of budhist principles and meditate every day, but I think of it as more of a philosophy than a religion.
Weird.. my moms side of the family are Buddhist. My dads side probably is too. I wear a jade necklace around my neck everyday. I volunteered at a Christian Summer Day Camp last summer. I believe in God, sometimes... because it's just obvious to me that science did not create the universe. A superior being did. Whether it is this God, or another god, someone did. But I'd call myself an Atheist.. for now.

I don't even find the need to be religious, I used to be Catholic because my parents are but turned down confirmation at the last minute and left the church....I find it moderatly interesting to learn about religion but I don't feel the need to believe in anything, I'm 19 years old, I don't have much experience, I have so much more to learn about life.</div>ah...I wish my parents would let me turn down confirmation. I have to go every weekend for church and my church group. It's a pain in the ass to say the least.
Religion is a dick pull. Shouldn't God be bigger than indiscriminate superstition and colorful rituals that only adds up to old school gang socialization?

Religion like stories are not SCIENTIFIC 100% TRUE you need to have FAITH IN GOD. Every Religion has the same thing, APPREICATE THINGS YOU HAVE THAT OTHERS DONT AND BE GOOD TO EACH OTHER

That ain't cool unless they attack your atheism. You won't convince them, especially on an internet forum, so there's no point in starting a fight with them

I think it's safe to say from reading this thread and from my own experience that the Catholic church does a terrible job of teaching it's young members....and this is why so many people are leaving the church, from reading this thread so many of you guys have had to go to church for years but don't even believe in god, there's nothing wrong with thinking for yourself but that's not good for the Catholic church's future at all. I went through religion school from when I was like 5 to 16...and I know very little about god or the bible, or teachings....most kids/young people I went to church with can't even answer simple questions about the faith....it's hard for kids to relate to it. A large majority of basic god believers in this country are the babyboom generation....how many kids from this generation are going to go to church? You know?
