Re: Van Gundy should take notes from tonight's game! Van Gundy should really take a look at how he used T-Mac tonight. In the stretch where T-Mac went 12-17 and had 7asts, he was being used in the post position about 15-18ft out. In terms of scoring, this is by far his best position. It eliminates the chance of him taking a 30ft 3, and it is in great range for him to be efficient. With Yao out, this is the perfect position for T-Mac to be in. With Yao in, T-Mac should be the playmaker at top of arc like he is almost every play of every game. But, this takes away from him as a scorer and makes him far less efficient.Against the Jazz, they will need T-Mac to be dangerous as a scorer. Van Gundy should use him exactly as he was used tonight.
