Aaahh..you are scaring me, Brian. Where is the option that says "There is nothing right with this picture."?
I never worked in Silicon Valley, but I used to go there quite a bit in the Netscape days and earlier Google days (as well we Redmond for Microsoft, which in many ways was just Silicon Valley / North). I love the tech, I always hated the way you had to work when you were there at one of these big super fast growing companies. A lot of super smart people there that were willing to sell their soul to the machine. Many got compensated really well, but still - not a fun place to work day in day out, imho.
Sir, can you please explain to us Non-Tech people what the hell a NetScape is and why did it along with Google have days?
A Netscape is like menscaping - but for nerds. Think of it as cutting the lawn for super-rich nerds, but instead of the lawns it's their... never mind. For a master of the Commodore 64 you are very good and pretending to not be a nerd. For the real young-ones - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netscape
Actually the mattress is white - which is why you do not see it in the picture. Imagine it as if he was standing on the bottom of a bowl.
dude, when Navigator came out in 97 and the Academy was wired for 'Net, and I got espn.com for the first time...
