    Curry has glass ankles. Davis has been injury-prone his entire career. When teams are built around those kinds of players, their fans don’t get to whine about the unfairness of their key players missing games. A player’s propensity to get injured is as much of a statistical factor in deciding to give them a contract as their game stats.

    Just to play along for a moment...

    If the Blazers win tonight they are 11 games back of the Warriors and would also own the tiebreaker. Each team would have 16 games left with none against each other. That means if the Blazers win out the Warriors would have to go 5-11 in their last 16 games. I know you think the Warriors are trash but do you think either of those scenarios would play out? For every loss the Blazers have the Warriors would have to do even worse than that.

    New Orleans down 15. Would be great to have 1.5 cushion for 3 seed. We need to pull away from the competition so that the last couple games of the season don't even matter. Go Blazers.

    Pelicans are down 23 in the fourth. If they lose it gives Portland an opportunity to create some space. But if Portland loses, nothing changes in the standings.
