Don Imus Rutgers Comments

Where do the 'I'm offended' police go next? Suddenly the FCC doesn't allow anything....thats where it will end up. I thought Imus should have been suspended, but firing people and being hypocritical is not the answer.

 

nah don't fire anybody because sometimes people just don't think before they talk and deserve a second chance because that's what this country is all about...a suspension is right..I agree with you on that

MSNBC is a corporation, not the government, and as a corporation they have the right to fire somebody who makes a move that is not popular to them. This reminds me of **SPOILER IF YOU HAVENT SEEN LAST SEASON'S SOPRANOS** Tony Soprano pondering whether or not to kill veto for being gay because it will lose him profits. Tony doesn't have a problem with one of his most loyal men being gay, but knows it will lose him profits and he'll lose face. I completely understand your point.
