So what you are saying is that Terry proved to be a real general because he did it before/during the battle. In this case, why are you questioning him? You are contradicting yourself.

Do they have a saying in Bosnia about it being hard to be a wrong general after the battle? Because this is your argument.

Well, you are acting like you know for a fact that playing Nurk would do the same.

The fact is that Ed was playing great, the Blazers went on a big run with him in, in that context, it was a pretty easy call, honestly.

Jeezus, give it a rest already. Basketball is a game of momentum. Stotts stuck with the combination of players who were playing well in the 4th quarter. It wasn't just Ed who got more 4th quarter burn, it was also Collins and Turner. Stotts wasn't disrespecting Nurk (or Aminu or Harkless), he just went with the guys who were playing well. End of story.

first of all, we were playing against one of the greatest teams ever, theres no lead they cant catch and theres no team that can stop them going on a run... so it doesnt matter if youre having Nurk or Ed Davis, they will do that things to you... and POR was not struggling to stay in the game by any means, we were down by 2 went Nurk went out

at some point (6:04 to go) in the 4th quarter, score was 104:98 to POR and at that point, Ed Davis had 6 pts & 10 reb in 20 min, Nurk had 10 pts & 11 reb in 21 min, so why not bring your starting C back in, Ed Davis didnt outplayed him at that point... facts you say, Ed Davis matched up better against GSW you say

my friend, your facts arent correct

dude....the Spurs rest their starters multiple games every season...you want t a bench ready to play in the playoffs...you get them playing well this time of year...it's a team sport....Popovich rested Duncan, Parker and Ginobli against Lebron, Bosh and Wade in a nationally televised game.....Nurk broke his leg before the playoffs last season...keeping him healthy this season is smart.....Ed Davis earned his court time and I'm sure Nurk cheered for him all the time he was out there....you should cheer for Ed too and repect Stotts rotations....making it about one guy is a problem a lot of teams have and whether you think so or not.....WE'RE NOT DENVER!!!!!

Down by 2 when Davis went in...... Up by 17 when he went out. No My FACTS are not incorrect.
You absolutely have no argument here. You have been owned on every level. Just bow out and concede you are wrong.
Like has been said in another comment. Bitch when they lose with Nurk on the bench.

This exactly, Ed was playing really well and it made a lot of sense for Terry to keep him in. And well, what do you know ? He was rewarded with many more big plays by Ed

nope and I said it in one of my previous posts... its not my problem if you dont read them or understand them for that matter

and which big run, please enlighten me... when Ed Davis checked in, POR was down by 2 and at the time Nurk usually comes back in, we were up by 6

if Ed Davis was playing great with 6:04 to go (6 & 10 at that point), then Nurk was playing even greater (10 & 11) and at that point there was no reason not to bring Nurkic back... youre acting like Ed Davis dominated GSW at that point... thats why Im saying its easy to say he made the right decision now that we won, but at that point, halfway through the 4th quarter, the right choice would be to put Nurk back in

in those 6 min, Nurk could finish the game with lets say 16/15, or 14/14, whatever and we would say he played much better than Ed Davis who would finish the game with 6/10... Im not saying he would, Im saying he could, just as no-one could know Ed Davis will play 6 good minutes till the end

down by 2 when he came in, up by 17 when he went out, hahahaha, thats some way to spin the discussion... halfway through the 4th quarter, when Nurk usually checks in for Ed Davis, we were up by 6... dont look how the game ended, look at that point

I keep speaking on ONE POINT IN THE GAME, HALFWAY THROUGH THE 4TH QUARTER and you people keep on speaking about how the game ended... THERES NO SINGLE ARGUMENT that Ed Davis was playing better than Nurk at that point

if there is, Id really like to hear that argument, like really haha

SAS never fight for the playoffs, so they certainly can afford it... were fighting, not just for the playoffs, but for the home court advantage too, so we CANNOT rest anyone... my point is that at the time Nurk usually comes back in at the 4th, Ed Davis was not playing better than him

sorry, but 6/10 is not better than 10/11... and forgive my ignorance, I thought coaches bring back their best players in the 4th
