All he ever cared about was Saddam and Iraq.</div> Usama Bin Laden is not really a priority and shouldn't be. We have so many things going on, I don't think using tons of resources to chase down someone in the mountains who is out of the loop in the organization is worth it, even though he is Usama Bin Laden. Bin Laden's significance has always been overrated in the media, outside of funding and keeping a structure in place, he did little else. We still have plenty of people looking for him.... Considering where he is and the fact that he won't be caught alive....I pretty much agree that we should shift resources towards Afghanistan/Iraq. We went after Usama like crazy for 3 years....and came up with little.
Re: Rosie O'Donnell Bingo! Bin Ladin is like the prize at the bottom of a box of cereal. If you go for the prize first you make a huge mess which takes a while to clean up, if you eat the cereal first you can still get the prize but at a later time. The militaries first a foremost job was to disable Al-Qaida and the Taliban so it couldn't launch an attack against the US, second was securing Afghanistan, third was rooting out what was left of the enemy. Bin Ladins acounts have all been frozen, he's face has been plastered in every city from Samarkand to Casablanca, and he has a F*cked up kidney. He's not going to be a threat any more, and while it would be great to capture him and hang his ass, it just isn't as important.I've heard the report that Bush wanted to blame 9/11 on Iraq, but I don't think there is anything really behind this. all the evidence is hear say, and even Georgie Porgie understands he couldn't have invaded Iraq for 9/11. I think he probably did have plans to invade Iraq from well before his election, and yes he does have a vendetta against Saddam; Saddam tried to kill George Senior. but George W wasn't the only one who thought Saddam was a problem. Bill Clinton said on numerous occasion that Saddam was a problem, Hilliary Clinton also said he was a problem. infact most the democrats who are bitching about the war voted for it.

It doesn't mean it was right to invade. Once the invasion happened it has been awfully managed and it is helping the World turn further against America.

Re: Rosie O'Donnell Their all idiots on that show though...she was the only one entertaining at least.

The others are just mildly idiotic, while she actually makes the show look foolish.

But the rest, ugh, completely ignorant on most everything, especially that doof Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
Re: Rosie O'Donnell <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Combs @ Apr 11 2007, 03:01 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Bush's MAIN problem is that he doesn't listen. He doesn't care about the law. He is clueless to the American people and what they want..or he doesn't care. He does what he wants and say pluck everybody else. It's his way or the high way. And that is a ridiculous way to run the country. Kerry seemed like a main of the people to me. He was in touch with reality, and he listened. he was willing to change and adapt. And that was what was held against him somehow.</div>Democrats are just as stubborn as Bush is when it comes to what their agendas are. When it comes to politics nobody gives a care as to what the people want so it is off base to single out Bush on that. It is nothing but a tag-line to gain votes for re-election. Look at democrats right now, they are more interested in looking at white house e-mails and passing a bill to bring troops home that has no chance of being approved then to actually work on something constructive that could actually help the country. John Kerry was nothing but a boob. Kerry was willing to change but his problem was he would change his positions frequently based off of what polls indicated and not the information available. People could not trust him because they had no clue as to what he really believed in.

Re: Rosie O'Donnell Rosie O'Donnell is leaving because she wants to get paid more than they are willing to pay her. She says she's going to come back and work on stories/pieces for the show after she leaves.
