I don't think this should be made into a big issue, considering it's only during a 3 game span but I figured I would post about it anyway. Marcus Camby has been shooting 15% (4-24) over the last 3 games. Hopefully he gets out of his shooting slump before the playoffs start, which I assume he will.On a side note, he's been averaging 15 rebounds and 5 blocks per game during the same 3 game stretch.
At least he fixed his wack shooting form that he used to have with the knicks. If it's just three games he'll get out of it. It's not as if the nuggs have a chance in the first round anyway.
Like you said Tony, at least he's doing other things that are really effecting the Nuggets. They are on a six-game winning streak, and if they end up playing SA, I think they could extend the series to about six games. They probably won't win, but I expect them to put up a decent fight against SA.

Yeah he has not been shooting good, but on the boards/blocks he has been doing great. I am sure he will come out of it soon.

Some nights with this duo this team is clicking, knocking down shots, and playing with great chemistry. Other nights nothing goes right for the Nuggets at home or on the road. None of their shots fall and when none of their shots fall Denver has little defense creating big holes for the Nuggets to get out of. It will all depend on how the Nuggets play as a team in the playoffs not how the duo plays.

I think the Nuggets are most dangerous when their role players are cutting, scoring, and just plain helping out Carmelo and AI. But, with those two guys on the floor, the Nuggets have a chance against any team in the playoffs, even if it is a small chance. If they play the way they have been playing these past two or three weeks, they could give SA a run for their money.

You can't have a center like Camby who may be on a slump very recently and not go to him, it makes your offensive game very messy.

Carmelo and AI are two guys who are capable of scoring 30 every night, and they've got a few good role players like Eduardo Najera and Youhkaba Diawara who will work hard and hustle every night. I'm not saying they will/could beat Dallas, Phoenix, or the Spurs. All I'm saying is that with AI and Carmelo, the Nuggets do have a chance. When they are on, the Nuggets can beat the best of teams in this League, so there is a small little chance. That's all Im saying.
