Clippers make it close, but the Hornets prevail 103-100 and improve to 37-41! I'll have the full recap for you later.
I was real nervous while the game was going. I couldn't watch it because I don't get the local Hornets' channels or NBA League Pass, so I was just watching the score from the bottom of NBA TV. The game was too close for me, I'm glad the Hornets sealed the deal and are now 37-41!

DEN, HOU, SAC and LAC are the teams they have yet to play, pretty tough. but who knows?
Recap: The Clippers(37-40) are now on the outside looking in, of the playoff race that is. With three straight losses, the Clippers have given up their hold on the eighth spot in the West to the Warriors, and join the Hornets(37-41) as the two teams within a game of Golden State. The Hornets, improved their record in overtime to 7-0 this season in a 103-100 victory over the Clippers. David West led the New Orleans with 33 points and seven rebounds. It seemed as though the Clippers were favored to win tonight's game, especially after Elton Brand scored 37 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Other key players had big games as well, Corey Maggette had 24 points and eight rebounds, Devin Brown had 25 points and nine rebounds and Chris Paul had 17 points, seven boards and 10 assists. The Hornets will travel to Los Angeles next Wednesday for the season finale of the season. New Orleans will need to win their final four games to have a decent shot at clinching the eighth spot. They will need help, which would mean a few losses for the Warriors and Clippers. Leaders of the Night:ClippersE. Brand- 37pts 10reb 3astC. Maggette- 24pts 8reb 3astC. The Clippers' remaining games are LA Lakers, Portland, Sacramento, Phoenix, and the Hornets. The Lakers and Suns should be a tough challenge for them. The last game could end up deciding who makes the playoffs.
