After reading many of your rants (especially this one), I would venture a guess that many of these kids are more well versed in things than you are. Age doesn't guarantee intelligence.
Donner Party Elementary! Maris shot and ate his first teacher. It's why he likes his teachers armed, legged, thighed, and breasted. He also likes them fried.
Stop projecting. We're actually talking about the nuts... No one called all gun owners nuts. Get your mind right.
Okay well "gun nuts" are an extremely small portion of society, small enough to not make a difference. Gun owners on the other hand are the force you are actually reckoning with. The "sport shooting" community isn't swaying shit, it's the millions of regular gun owners who clamor to keep their rights. When you bring up a small insignificant group it makes it seem like you are the one projecting that label at the rest of us who simply own guns and don't get boners from them.
To point out good wherever I see it, it seems as if President Obama did some good common-sense stuff on his way out of office. I'm trying to find backup data corroborating it, but one commentator I read said that 470,000 of the 500,000 "fugitives" reinstated in the NICS system were from MA, who was deliberately mis-interpreting the law to restrict rights to as many people as possible. But just another abuse of the system by gov't personnel.
You're getting butthurt and frankly we don't care if you have to go through something extra to obtain a firearm. Something needs to be done. Y'all don't want to do one thing. The ability to obtain firearms needs speed limits and stop signs.
Fake news. I hate how y'all start with this BULLSHIT notion. It's fucking bullshit through and through and is the hugest strawman...
To be fair, there are some (background checks, waiting periods, prohibition for felons, gun-free zones, concealed-carry restrictions, etc.). You just want a few more. Not saying there's anything wrong with that--just want to clarify.
Sure there are, no doubt. There are huge holes in the system of driving laws too. No dispute on either.
Rather than contrasting laws with objects, I'd think we should probably compare apples to apples. "The lack of driving laws aren't killing people the way the lack of gun laws are." "Cars aren't killing people the way guns are." Both statements would be highly debatable. Still, I'm not saying that existing gun laws mean that no further ones would be valuable, or that holes in the existing driving laws justify holes in gun laws. Just saying that your most recent statement is a tad off.
