I get a lot of problems falling asleep, and I usually can't go to sleep because I'm never sleepy enough. Then I wake up with only 6 hours of sleep, and I feel like sh*t and I still have to go to school. I also want to have at least 8 - 9 hours of sleep, because I was growing like crazy last year, and now, I stopped growing because of the amount of time I get to sleep. Does anyone know of any suggestions? Thanks.
I don't know. I had the same problem a year ago and then it just went away. Now I'm sleeping as soon as my eyes close pretty much..Sleeping aids might help? Do you have a bad mattress?Possibly stress is a factor?Drinking some kind of herbal tea and relax before you go to bed could help too.
Be more active during the day. Don't eat or drink anything besides water like 3 hours before trying to sleep...
I had huge problems getting asleep about 2 or 3 years ago. It was horrible. I'd lay in bed for like 4 hours until I sleep, for like 2 or 3 hours and then wake up. iono how I overcame it though..
Make sure you are NOT eating or drinkin things with caffeine(sp?)...if you are, cut that out ASAP...I used to never be able to fall asleep, but now I drink only decaffinated drinks, and not much chocolate..
I close my eyes, and think about life...which gets me sleepy. I used to have your problem until I started that.Also, people find this weird, but when I keep my eyes open with my fingers, they start rolling back cause they are so dry...that makes me sleepy.
Haha you wish you were like me. I sleep soooooooo much. I'll fall asleep at completely random points in the day it's so dope. You just need to wait until you're tired. You're just one of those people I guess. I'm a sleeper, you're not. It's something you'll need to live with.

I never sleep, but my main problem is because I got some stuff on my mind at night and I can't fall asleep. Matter fact, in the past 8 days I haven gotten 4 hours. Ugh, don't ask me how or anything I just can't sleep. :no1:
I HAVE to go to bed between 2-4AM. If I go to bed anytime before that I will not be able to sleep. That said when I do go to bed, I fall asleep in 2-3 minutes.

Oh wow, how did I forgot how I overcame it. I grab the nearest book/magazine and start reading until I get tired. I still do that. Works.
