This is America and you have a right to your opinion no matter how goofy it might be.

Actually I did at first, but then a mod (me) edited that post so it wouldn't be perceived as a personal attack. That jerk...

"Frankly, we don't care if you have to go through something extra to vote."
"Frankly, we don't care if you have to go through something extra to get a fair trial."
"Frankly, we don't care if you have to go through something extra to be able to practice your religion (or not be forced to practice mine)."

Your issue is with the Constitution. Which is one of the reasons progressives are failing so hard to change things about it. Even in Chicago when they forced through what they wanted, it got overturned because of...you guessed it...not being Constitutional. It's not driving. It's not health care. It's not abortion. It's not minimum wage. Your statement above is not in accordance with the Constitution, the rights that citizens all live with, not necessarily regulations we live by.
The populace doesn't get to vote on the Constitution. We get to vote on reps that we hope make laws that do what we want as they're in accordance with the Constitution, and if there's a convention the representatives of the states will vote, but you and I can't change it.

How could that be a personal attack, unless you referred inappropriately to a third party such as Sly.

Beware of Sly, he is lurking everywhere. Also, I wouldn't slam dogs if I were you.

It wouldn't by most, but I nearly always err on the side of politeness and courtesy.

An admirable trait which I strive to achieve even if I have to redouble my efforts from time to time.

You need guns to have a revolution.

    Ironic.

That's a problem for many who are overly infatuated with guns. Some revolutions don't require guns as weapons to support their cause. e.g. The Civil Rights revolution.

None of those things are detrimental to the safety of others. We've installed regulations on amendments for safety reasons before.

Why can't you yell fire in a crowded theater without penalty if someone is hurt?

Sorry but it's NOT your constitutional right to own a killing machine. And even if it was, that right can be regulated for public safety.

    No. No you don't.

Were guns used during the industrial revolution?

What makes you think they weren't?

Guns have been around a long time.

Guns were used to suppress the civil rights movement.

How'd that work out for the Jim Crow supporters?

More insults? Why not stick to the post and leave your characterizations out of it?
