    It's not even called a jump ball, when one player ties up an opponent, it's called a held ball.

    IMO that would not help us either. We still lose those too. There is so much movement when the balls goes up by the other players that the opponents always seem to reposition themselves in front of our players. Why we don't also do that.... is part of my frustration.

    Maybe embellishing on how often it happens, but not making it up. I see other players on other teams move in anticipation of where they think the tip is going when we have the size advantage. And we never seem to do the same when they have the obvious size advantage.

    I don't know what game it was but I remember a play where we had a little guy in a jump ball against a big, Lillard anticipated the back tap, stole the ball and got a lay up at the other end
