<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>CHICAGO (AP) -- There was little drama during the game but plenty of it afterward. The Chicago Bulls wasted no time putting away New York, moving a step closer to securing the second seed in the Eastern Conference by handing the Knicks their most lopsided loss of the season, 98-69 on Tuesday night. Then, things got tense.Nate Robinson, Jerome James and Steve Francis had words with the Bulls' Tyrus Thomas afterward. And James had to be restrained from going after him in the hallway."I think they were definitely trying to rub it in," said Eddy Curry, who spent his first four seasons with the Bulls. "But we'll see them next year."ADVERTISEMENTFans get free Big Macs if the Bulls score 100. Chicago's Chris Duhon acknowledged they were trying to feed spectators but denied trying to run up the score. Thabo Sefolosha missed a 3-pointer with 1:04 left, and Duhon missed two in the final minute. Malik Allen also missed a layup with 10 seconds left."We just wanted to do something for the fans," Duhon said. "I don't cook, so I wanted one myself. We certainly didn't mean any disrespect."The Knicks didn't see it that way, though."As a veteran, I have been in the league long enough, and I know when people are trying to run up the score on you," Francis said. "And I told their players, if I was in the game, it would've been something different. If it was a threat or whatever, I'm a veteran. I won't do that to nobody, and I don't expect nobody to try to do that to younger players on my team, so that's what it was."</div>its on the recap for the game on the yahoo sports website.but wow, this reminds me of something that happened with denver/knicks. the bulls fans get free big macs everytime they score 100 points at home. it was 98-60 somethin and tehre was like a minute left. and for each of the bulls possession all they tried to do was score.. and then with 26 seconds left (seeing as how we have to shoot).. duhon took a shot and then malik rebounded and threw it up but didnt go in.. the knicks see this as an insult.. well I say F*ck the knicks.. dont be such f*cking punks always trying to start trouble. they had a confrontation ON the court after the game but jerome james taking it so far that he ahs to get restrained in the hallway? honestly, show some leadersihp and class and self restraint.this disgusts me
knicks are just mad there out the playoffs and that us beating them it helps the draft pick.. There babys.... w.e Anyway this was a goodwin... helps us stay in 2nd place and like I said it also helps us with the draft pick
Damn Knicks, what the hell are they good for if they can't beat the Bulls. Who is next for Chicago? Dang it, they need to lose a freaking game!
what a bunch of babies, running up the score??? they only had 98 pts, it would be completely different if it was like 115- 69, thats running up the score. And Duhon, Thabo, and Malik were in the game, if we were trying to rub it in, we'd be playing our starters. Part of me hopes the Cavs do the same thing to them, even tho we need the cavs to lose
I always find situations like these funny. "Hey, don't run up the score on us!" Um, well, maybe if you guys actually showed up to the play the game, and didn't get blown out, it wouldn't have happened!
Heres an idea... PLAY DEFENSE YOU IDIOTSRunning up the score.. lmao.. wow, this team is just terrible
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (KobeBryant_24 @ Apr 11 2007, 04:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>2-12 since that great extension, lol</div> That reminds me of the time Marbury declared himself the best point guard in the NBA... the Knicks were playing well before that (leading the division I believe), and then after those comments it all went downhill.
Funny thing is when duhon shot the ball there was 26 secs left... so no matter what a shot had 2 be put up.. And Yeah allen got the REB and shot the ball.. but so what... Knicks suck anyway.... tryin 2 start a fight cause they got there butts kicked.. take it like a man
Funny thing is, the Knicks are playing without all of their best players. I mean, of course it's gonna be a blowout. The frustration is coming because of all the injuries and fading down the strech. They have out:Renaldo Balkman only missed 2 games because of this, but wasnt there vs. CHIQuentin Richardson huge loss, we needed shooting and he's a great defenderJamal Crawford he was probably the biggest loss of all, he avg'ed like 18 ppg and your not going to replace his late game heroicsDavid Lee been out for a while now. his rebounding, defense, and overall positive energy made him a HUGE asset to our teamStephon Marbury another big loss, guy was basically most of our offense besides curry and, the other guy out, crawfordEven Francis isn't playing at 100 percent, he's had really bad knee conditions the entire year.My point of this post is that the reason we have been horrible the past 15 games is only because of the injuries...the Knicks would have made the playoffs if all those guys were healthy.
Oh no doubt they have alot of injuries, but the real reason they tried to fight Tyrus is because they have become worse the last 2 weeks and maybe some resentment towards bulls owning them in that eddy curry trade.

I don't really like Nate Robinson, never have, never will. He's a punk. He wants to win, plays hard, and is flashy, but that's about it. He's very incosistent, and off the court I really don't like him...Jerome James was also involved in this? He has a history of this stuff. The guy is a low class loser, and he's lazy as hell..Second of all, we don't really know what happened behind the scenes, and what was said on the court that may have triggered this into the later stages of the game, and after the game...
They had their reserves in....How are they trying to run the score up? Knicks are a bunch of pussy's to be honest.
LOL, good ole Isiah. I have to thank him for being so generous for giving the Bulls 2 lottery picks. Who knows? Maybe he'll give us David Lee for Michael Sweetney and some Big Macs. Eddy sure needs an eating partner!

Why would he trade his 1sr rounders to Chicago once for Curry and then the other year for Crawford, when you know that you pick is going to be a lottry and when the bulls aren't. I dont get what he is trying to prove by doing that. And the knicks are probably just jealous cause they dont get a lottery this year since the bulls got it and are playing well.
