Meh. I can leave most of ESPN behind. I like Le Betard and Bamoni occasionally. But the rest is hot take, reactionary crap. I stick to local sports radio and podcasts for my regular sports analysis. There are absolutely some great sports podcasts out there.

Also, that dunk last night was amazing.

Apparently ESPN's top management are coke heads. That's why the head of ESPN quit a few months back, a coke dealer threatened his family.

Remember kids, always tip your coke dealer for Christmas.

When it comes to that raw athleticism, he's the definition of "I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was".

It was a GREAT dunk, but I just checked the box score and they only gave him 2 points for it. What a rip off. If the judges hadn't been such LeBron haters they would gave given him straight 10s and CLE would have won the game.

ESPN is trash, Stephen A. is ok as long as he praises Dame, Max looks like a bearded 3rd grader and that LeBron dunk was nuts.
I actually yelled "OHH SHIIIT!" and it sounded like the entire arena did too.

I'm convinced that ESPN is the reason NBA.com became such complete trash. They want people to visit their website, so they asked the NBA to make their site unusable.

Max was not the guy to pair with SAS. I wish they would bring back Tim Legler.

Pop quiz. In two years, what's more likely to be remembered in NBA circles, LeBron's dunk, or Portland getting a regular season win against an EC team?

Now you know why they went with the dunk.

Poor choice on my part to use the word only, I just don't think it matters in the grand scheme of things. In 2007-08 the Blazers went on a 13 game win streak and finished 41-41. They need to prove that they are a piece away from being contenders before that piece will want to come here.

Look at the freeze that BRoy posted in the game thread. Look how high LeBron is, how far out he is and where the ball is. The man is flat out FLYING. Yeah Nurk cant jump over a newspaper, but I don't understand how anyone could watch that and not think it was a special dunk.

Not many guys can do that period, let alone in their thirties. . .

To me, the dunk wasn't even very contested. Nurk was off to the side and going straight up so he wasn't even really in the way.

It was a great dunk in my opinion. Everyone gets dunked on in this league. It's not always going to be that spectacular though. Nurk made the highlight reel for the wrong reason. He will get over it.

Lebrons free throws surprised me though. What is he 70 some percent. He missed a few last night. Hack a bron?... No.
