Stay away from the high purine foods. Trust me, it'll work. I was diagnosed with gout (sore big toe, blood tests confirmed, etc.) but only had it the one time. That was 20 years ago, so it's not been chronic. I did lose 30 lbs and that helped, too. That's why I mentioned it.

The short list of food to avoid probably will do. Stay away from Turkey, and anything that comes in a pod (peas, beans, peanuts). That sort of thing. The list is only about 10 foods.

I've heard that dog testicles are a natural cure.

    I don't drink aspartame. Can't stand stevia.

I'll just Not drink soda. I've given it up before.

.....I had a half-pound package of Oscar Meyer turkey. But I've always had that stuff, at least once a day. Never given me a problem.

    Sigh!

    .........I am NOT getting tea-bagged by @SlyPokerDog.

Erythritol is a good and safe sweetener. Sucralose is fine, too.

Someone get me a pair of bolt cutters. I've had enough!

I would drive somewhere and get something for it, but I drive a stick shift-and-clutch. I had to get up just now to fill up my water bottle....that was sheer agony. I can't even imagine driving my car right now.

I worked when my toe was so bad I couldn't wear a shoe. I wore a flip flop on my left foot. Driving my Focus was a bitch but at least it has a light clutch pedal.

The next day I cut a relief hole in an old shoe and jammed my foot in, it was fine once it got to the cutout. Going in was horrific.

Don't click the thumbnail if you have a weak stomach but my toe is still deformed from where it got bad. You need to get this under control fast if you don't want a foot like this. IMG_20180316_183141.jpg

Thanks. So far it doesn't look any different than usual, but I'm definitely keeping an eye on it.

My feet are so small that the middle toe on my left foot doesn't even have a joint in the middle. I doubt they could be deformed much more than they already are. :biglaugh:

You best just get a gallon of water, go stand in front of your favorite place to pee, and start drinking. Stop only to get some more water.
Perhaps in a day or two....

Even though you are in dire pain, the @SlyPokerDog does not control futures. I have arthritis and know what trip your on. Go see a rheumatologist right away. My guy saved me. This will not be the only night.
Nothing compares to the sharp pain in your joints which is like a knife thrust direct into the bone. IBProfin has to be taken with food. Surely you will fuck up your stomach. Check out youtube for some alternative answers. Good luck bro.

The only comparable pain I've had is a sinus infection that made my eye swell shut requiring a hospital stay and an impacted gall bladder which was removed. The gall bladder was the worst of all. Would have been suicidal if that pain lasted for any length of time.

Try a chilled Harvey's Bristol Cream with your next cigar. Before I met my wife, my roommate and I used to smoke a cigar, drink chilled Harvey's Bristol Cream and toast each other saying "To the Regiment!". We'd then throw our newly emptied glasses in the fireplace, with logs burning in it. The fireplace was wall to wall and floor to ceiling. I used to live in thaat house as a small boy. My mom kept it all those years and then rented it out to us. Loved that neighborhood in the old part of Lake Oswego. It was so close to the majority of the bars and taverns that we could walk from one to another until our circuit brought us home.

    Yes, very fun.

    LOL

You know what, I've taken them for my arthritis. It works wonders.

I worried about the cortisone shots and my bone strength so I gave them up.

There is one pain that sort of the mother of all pain. Gout is a bitch, but it's twin brother caused by the uric acid is the real mother of all pain.

Uric acid Kidney stone. Now when that dude get maneuvered over the outlet and start to block the flow, that's it! I will cause you to blow chips on the spot.
Make you lip roll up and turn white. You can do shit but hope to die, then it may get worse. The pain is so bad, you reel in your balls until it feels as if you been kick in the nuts and you can get the foot out of there.

It is bad shit man. They ain't got any pills for that one.
