I watch enough games and have seen more games than you have through my lifetime. You're young, so you'll see the trends as you follow the league longer;2/3rd's of prospect's never pan out or get beyond a bench roll.Young teams tend implode and regress without a coaching change or major change.Coach's are usually as good as the talent around them or have to be in the just the right situation. Most are not aptable enough to improve a team no matter what they are given.Bad NBA team's need significant change, yet GM's will usually do one of two things. Go young and keep their job because the team is 'developing' or make lots of trades to show they are actively trying to improve the team, even if the trades don't make sense.defense usually wins championships, but you don't have to be the best defensive team, just able to get stops in crunch time. The media hypes the next thing and quickly ignores the curent players in favor of 'potential'I visit several forums to read what people think and I see a lot of overly opptimistic comments when it comes to the celtics. This team sucks, the chemistry is not there and that adversely affects the team defence. On a side note, Laker/Kobe fans are downright delusional.
I watch enough games and have seen more games than you have through my lifetime.
Heh. I was unaware that you knew me and know how much basketball I have watched in my life. Sorry Mrs. Cleo, you are wrong this time. Do you honestly think you have to be a certain age to figure that one out? You're acting like I don't know that. You have no idea how obsessed I am with basketball, how much I watch, how many DVD's I have, how many games I have on my computer, how much time I actually spend watching and/or playing basketball. You haven't a clue. In a way, that's true, but not entirely. So true. The chemistry is actually a lot better than what it was last year. In fact, I think the injuries have forced that. With the key guys out, the young players had no choice but to learn to play with each other. They have done an excellent job in that aspect. They chemistry level is much better than anybody expected with all these injuries. The chemistry isn't the "issue" on the defensive end. It's the fact that these players are so young an inexperienced mixed with the fact that they are solely NOT good defensive players (excluding a very small handful). What the hell? That was the most random thing you could have said in this topic. Where did that come from?
well you're 18 and have been watching for how long?I've been watching NBA and college basketball for longer than you've been alive.my interests are diverse yes and I don't focus on just one sport or leisure interest anymore.but when I was your age, it was ALL about b-ball, watching & reading pure b-ball with an ounce of football when the NFL came around.I may not know how much you follow, but I'm willing to bet I've seen more.- is anything entirely true when it comes to sports? (besides, high score wins the game)??kinda silly to point that out...p.s. I like being random, get a sense of humor, you'll enjoy life more.

ok, I'll draw you a picture.I was talking about how the majority of Celtic fans act on the forums I visit. (nut huggers that think most of the current team is talented and have their reality blinders on).I then threw in that Lakers/Kobe fans (some are just Kobe fans and not necessairly Laker fans) are downright out of their freakin' mind with how good they think the Lakers are and going on about how Bynum was going to be so great this year and how Farmer would be an all-star. I read all types of these 'give me a break' comments. Just sad, unrealistic comments. So since I was talking about the mentality of a lot of Celtic fans I've encountered on forums, I thought I'd throw in a comment about fans who are even more in denial about their teams prospects; Laker/Kobe fans.I just didn't think I had to s-p-e-l-l it out in so many words.whoops, my bad.
