This here is a prime example of what is wrong with the police in our country. This is ridiculous. This is also another reason I HATE cars that don't have real keys. Why should all cars have real keys? Because then these idiot cops could tell everyone they pull over to turn off the ignition and put the keys on the dash. It almost seems like they get bored and WANT to get in a chase.
uh, you just do not want any sort of encounter with these guys. You have to have a better plan than relying on these fellas.
The fucker pit maneuvered him in traffic. WTF? This is worse than when Henderson cops sent a dog into a guy's vehicle after they had already realized he wasn't who they were looking for and it attacked his toddler. When I was a witness to a DUI and the woman crashed her car into a vehicle stopped at a light the FIRST THING I did was make her give me the keys. These new electronic keys that will allow the car to be started if they are inside the vehicle (and often nearby) should be outlawed. Cop can't say put the keys on the dash, it won't help. Driver can still push start and drive away.
Yeah that cop put innocent people in danger pit manuvering him in the middle of towan like that. Lots of unneccessarry force used throughout. Is a cop required to tell you ehy the stopped you before you have to hand thrm your information? Seemed messed up. Holy shit that Semi at the end...damn.
You would also think the morons would understand how a car windshield works, nope. Oh, by the way now that we have you let's smash your face into the ground and stick a knee in your back...you know, standard operating procedure.
See, the problem is that most of us know the guy probably deserves it so people don't go crazy about it. But we should.
That guy was fucking stupid for not obeying to begin with, but you can tell that cop doesnt have anything on that guy. The video begins with the cop assuming the guy is a thief who stole from sams club the week before. So, he pulled the guy over because he looked like a suspect from a theft a week prior...right. Dude was scared, saw a racist cop messing with him thought he was in for a beating or worse and took off. The cop showed negligance doing the pit manuver in the middle of a busy street in the middle of town. Then after the crash...the winshield...jesus...those cops were so full of rage it was not even funny. They could have simply got the guy out handcuffed him and put him the patrol car, none of the extra tetosterone needed.
I wasn't trying to excuse the cops, just thinking about why we continue to let them get away with stuff.
Because a lot of folks harbor violent authoritarian fantasies, and kinda like that cops do this because they think it'd never happen to them. I wonder if they're the same people who love "bonecrushing" hits in the NFL and bemoan the current league as prissy and too gentle. COPS was a brilliant propaganda campaign for police.
Seems like as good of a reason as any. I'm in the middle of Flint Town and I don't know what to think yet
