I lucked into a valuable car and you love me. How is that possible?

I hate that situation, but I don't hate you or the guy that has Bullitt.

    Jealous of both I suppose.

Too bad you didn't hang on to the Mustang. A Mustang in good condition built that year would be worth a lot of money today. I learned that from Wheeler Dealer.

Don't remind me lanny. My dad when he had his shop was also dealing in early Mustangs and we had several coupes, fastbacks and convertibles from 65 to 68. The Mustang would be worth around $35,000 to $40,000, but my 1968 427 Cougar is around $110,000 to $115,000. Oh, what could have been.

What sort of nut does it take to give up 110k for a fucking old Cougar?

I would think that $35,000 would not be enough to get you one in good condition. And again, I'm going on what I've seen on Wheeler Dealer.

Now, that was funny. However, I think you're safer using my wife as your example.

The devout cowboy lost his favorite Bible while he was mending fences out on the range. Three weeks later, a cougar walked up to him carrying the Bible in its mouth. The cowboy couldn't believe his eyes. He took the precious book out of the cougar's mouth, raised his eyes heavenward and exclaimed, "It's a miracle!" "Not really," said the cougar. "Your name is written inside the cover."

A police officer sees a man driving around with a pickup truck full of cougars. He pulls the guy over and says... "You can't drive around with cougars in this town! Take them to the zoo immediately." The guy says "OK"... and drives away. The next day, the officer sees the guy still driving around with the truck full of cougars, and they're all wearing sun glasses. He pulls the guy over and demands... "I thought I told you to take these cougars to the zoo yesterday?" The guy replies... "I did . . . today I'm taking them to the beach!"

Probably the same type of fucking idiot who spent countless money and time building a sailboat

The car is very rare, the last production Ford / Mercury with a rare 427 in it There were like only about 350 made. Rather than cuss and make snide remarks you should educate yourself in the world of rare classic cars.

It's a beautiful sailboat. Completely worth the time and money he spent on it.

To each his own, but a $115,000 extremely rare 1968 Cougar XR7-GTE 7 litre is beautiful as well. If he wants to toss insults I can do it just as well. Maybe next time he should just keep his fucking mouth shut and make us wonder if he is ignorant rather than showing us he is.
