Tore part of it off catching it on the rim/net on a dunk. That had to hurt!

The problem with the 4th quarter of the last game was Terry let D'Antoni dictate the match ups. The Rockets went small and Terry followed. He tried to out Rocket the Rockets and beat them at their own game. That was doomed to fail. He'd be much better off with Nurk (or at least Ed) on the floor to make them pay for going small. Punish them inside and absolutely own the boards at both ends.

Yeah, HOU has a lot of shooters and can put five of them on the floor at the same time - if you let them. They fire up a lot of three pointers, but miss over 63% of them. We need to limit them to a single shot and take care of business on the other end. Yeah, let them try to cover Nurk with Ryan Anderson or Trevor Ariza and see how that works for them.

Don't give in and play Rockets ball. Force them to play Blazers ball.

They are funny! I especially liked the comment that Portland would riot like it was the Super Bowl if they won this game against Houston. They must have missed how the Blazers beat the world champs twice in two weeks (1st time before Curry was injury) and didn't even crack a smile.

If the lose, they will blame the refs, which is hilariously ironic, given that with James Harden and Chris Paul, they are one of the most "generously officiated" teams in the league.

And Harkless. If they put a guard on Harkless, he seemed to do a good job of punishing them in the post.

I love watching Harkless post-up - he's so quick and agile! Wish we'd do it more.

It would suck to lose both Dame (baby) and Bazz (toe) tonight. I flew out to Portland for this.

Lat Rocket game here Harden made way to many drives to the hoop that were non contested. He had many clear path drives to the hoop.

Oh I hope to Christ we beat the crap out of the Rockets. I really do. You can bet your sweet buttercheeks that I am gonna be fired up for "The Other Side" thread. And that clutchfans forum is gonna be numero uno on my list.

But......when I take a step back and think rationally about this......man, I just don't think we have it to beat this team. Our opponents have all been injured with key players out, and hardly any of them have been legit contenders.

I think our winning streak comes to an end tonight. And to make matters worse, I think TNT will be unbearable as always, with constant shots of Homeless Beard Man flopping and stepping up to the line, with quick switches over to the sidelines to see CP3 staring mutely at something. Because Rockets.

If we win this, we're going to win this on sheer Defense. I hope the refs can be unbiased about that (I have my doubts....), and I hope this former Head Of Officiating that we hired as a consultant will pay off in this game.

Either way....I'm excited. And terrified. GO BLAZERS!

I with you @Jade Falcon; I don’t see the streak continuing to 14. Dame is pre-occupied, Bazz will either play hurt or miss the game, there’s nothing left to prove, nobody has slighted Dame or the team lately... it all feels like a let down, lose by 12 game.
