Eastern Conference Champs, as well. But, as we all know, regular season accomplishments mean nothing to this team, it's all about the big one.Anyway, as for the game, I honestly thought we played horribly. Horrible is probably too harsh of a word, but we didn't play as well as we could. First, we had a chance to close out the game, up 18 in the second quarter. Flip puts in the reserves instead of keeping the starters in for a minute or two longer. What happens? Magic cut the lead to ten at half, keeping them in the game.Next, the rebounding. We were outrebounded 37-31, not terrible, especially going up against Dwight Howard. But, Orlando was able to grab 14 offensive rebounds. Some of the time our guys wouldn't even chase after the ball. Very disapointed in this aspect. Then, in the fourth, with around 7-8 minutes left, Flip decides to take out Chauncey, and put in Flip. Now, I think Chauncey might have hurt his hand on a reach, but even if that's the case, put Hunter in. Anyway, Flip comes in, turns it over on his first possesion, then allows Jameer to get a pretty wide open jump shot. Next time down, Jameer hits another jumper with Murray on him. Next time, Jameer drives by him with ease, misses the lay-up, no one bothers to get the rebound, Jameer gets it, and Murray runs toward him, and then runs away or something, didn't really see what happened, making Prince come out, but not before he gets the 3 off. Timeout, Coach Flip keeps Murray in. He makes a terrible defensive play, fouling Nelson on a 3, and he makes all three free throws. Finally Saunders takes him out. Now as for the positives. Chauncey and Rip both played very well, with Chauncey showing why he's called Mr. Big Shot. McDyess played really well, too with Rasheed in foul trouble and Webber only playing 23 minutes to rest for the playoffs most likely. He's been playing really well lately. That was a really clutch hook by Tayshaun with around one minute left to give us the lead, or increase the lead, I forget which. And Dale Davis gave us a solid 15 minutes, putting up 5 and 5.

But that is an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE description of chain events ( not saying it didnt happen that way. But if it did...........wow. You couldnt script that in an old 70's sports movie:Underdog is down big. Young up and comming player who hasnt really fit on the team until recently comes around in the 4th quarter. Steals the ball, makes a jumer, and another, drives the lane and misses a lay-up (this is the point when the coach and everyone on the bench puts their hands on their head and say "awwww shucks")..................................but no, the kid comes back with a great hussle play to get the rebound and drains a 3, then gets fouled on a 3 and makes all free throws.Add in a championship game and a win and Im sending the script to Hollywood TONIGHT!
Some more things I want to add. First the negative: How many wide open dunks did we give up tonight? It seemed like they could get them whenever they wanted. Now the positive: The ball movement/passing was excellent tonight. We always seemed to make that extra pass that led to open jumpers, or made a great pass to someone down low or cutting to the basket. And with the Magic losing, and Pacers winning, Indiana is only one game back with four to play. Indiana holds the tiebreaker (conference record) so there's a very good chance our draft pick from the Magic could be lottery.

After your posts and the hilights on ESPN, I dont feel like I need to watch the game anymore (I TiVoed it). I dont live in Detroit anymore so I dont get to see all the games. If you could do me a favor and post one of these after every non nationally televised games, that would be great.
