Re: Things other fans don't know about your team/players First of all, cool thread.- Anthony Parker was considered the Michael Jordan of the Euroleague, he's our best defender and one of the smartest players in the NBA.- We have the best/worst commentator in the league in Chuck Swirsky, depending on your opinion of him.- With the exception of Phoenix (Nash/Barbosa) and arguably Charlotte (Felton/Knight) we have the best pair of pure PGs in the league.- We have the most class acts out of any team in the league.- If you watch a Raptors game, it's a very rare treat to see the Smitch with a smile on his face.- We have a fan from Asia (not sure of his nationality, excuse my ignorance) that spends all his money on courtside season-tickets for the Raptors. He's famous for that in Toronto.- We don't hate 'Zo for no reason, he told the Raptors Organisation that he was physically unable to play when he was traded from New Jersey, and after he bought him out he seemed just fine in Miami.- Joey Graham can go from brilliant to just plain stupid in a matter of minutes.- Our bench has amazing amounts of energy, no matter how many injuries we have.- Pape Sow, Uros Slokar and other deep bench players are cool, and they usually score us our 100th point, which means we get free pizza.- No matter what anyone says, Vince Carter is a baby.

Re: Things other fans don't know about your team/players I love Chuck Swirsky. He has a high degree of basketball knowledge, and contrary to popular belief does not just yell all the time. His reactions are very congruous to how the fans feel, as he will yell and shriek when the momentum is going or stay calm as the game is just beginning.He is the only announcer I've ever heard that had actually made me enjoy a dunk more with his ranting. There's nothing worse than seeing an incredible play and hearing the announcer talk react in the same way as if he was falling asleep.

He makes raptors games more exciting for me.
