These scouts travel across the world to scout these players, evaluate their games and personalities, they know about their home life... yet they can't figure out his age. What the hell?

Some different places have different information about his age, and if he truly did tell Shane Battier he was 24 last year, then like the quote says: It's a problem if he's 25 years old with an undeveloped body like that. So, yes, it's a big concern here.
I don't get how people don't know how old someone can be. What did his parents say about it? I mean, shouldn't they know? What about the hospital he was born at?

People still doubt that Freddy Adu is as young as he says too.
