Children no matter the generation are too stupid to think for themselves. Only thing I can think of is the posters on this website who believe this where never afforded the opportunity to think for them self. Or they didn't care to think for them self. Both of which can be completely true, especially when you talk to older generations. My mother says all the time. 'What were we thinking by letting you kids think for yourselves'. I tell her, 'You were giving us an opportunity you were never afforded as a child'.
Haven’t they been talking about it since the 17 kids were killed? Haven’t we been watching these same kids speak throughout the past month? You been out of the country or something?
I don't watch the news honestly. However I kinda have seen the same kids faces who have been talking about it since the shooting on twitter. My point was, one of the kids made this march a date about a month before or whatever. That David hogg kid has been saying some crazy things. I just think this is your typical protest that comes and goes and nobody says anything about it in a week, however I am willing to be wrong on that and hope I am.
I teach kids four salient things - 1. Safety comes first; 2. Learn the difference between morality and ethics. That'll get you a good start in life; 3. Exercise your brain and it will get stronger just like physical exercise makes your muscles grow stronger; 4. Highly successful people have four common characteristics: 1) They get regular physical exercise; 2) They help others. This can not be part of a profession such as a psychiatrist, teacher or counselor. Try mentoring or being a scout leader, ; 3) They have a highly developed sense of spirituality. While this is religious for many of us, it is not religious for others. It might be a simple awe at the wonders of nature or the stars; 4) They have a life long pursuit of improved mental health. I urge you to consider these factors when mentoring your child.
You know, if you get rid of cats. You'll have more skunks, due to cats and skunks having similar eating habits.
lol, and here in proves you're not as bright as you think you are. The idiot comment was about trump, but if you want to put yourself in that category, then by all means go ahead and do so.
I think regular physical exercise is HUGE. I work out 5 times a week and it is a major key when it comes to just feeling good. When those endorphins fire off it's something else. Good for the mind too.
Couldn't agree more. I also use to work out 5 days a week. It put me in a really good mood, too. Loved to chat with my fellow gym members in the locker room. In my gym they ranged from 18 to 88. Although I used to do circuit weight training which meant reps of 15 to 30. I managed to work my way up to benching 260 and doing 560 on the leg press while I weighed 180. I worked out 2 1/2 hrs. a day and worked every muscle in my body. Now, it's all I can do to get grom one room to another. Taking a shower is exhausting. Why? Because I turned down my father's offer to go to Canada to live instead of going overseas to that war. Geez, I got off track. Back then I never felt better. It's a high I can recommend to everyone.
Love that song. When I used to work out at the Portland YMCA's Metro Fitness Center on Barbur, during the workout they instructor would occasionally play that song and we'd all go nuts trying to outdo each other. Great times.
