We could be playing either: Indiana, Orlando, or even New Jersey. Who would you rathar play in the 1st round? I would go for Orlando. Orlando is a team that just doesn't seem ready for the playoffs, they are not experienced at all; so it would be much better than playing a team like New Jersey who has tons of experience and can throw the Pistons occaisonal surprises. I think if we play Orlando, we know what we'll be getting. Yes - Dwight Howard will have a couple of monster games with double digit rebounding; but still, that isn't anything we can't handle. Playing Orlando would be the safest option IMO.

Yeah I want the lotto pick. And I don't wanna play NJ first round, I want a team they can sweep..and that team is Indiana. if Indiana steals the 8th seed I'll be a happy man. But orlando owns the tie break so doesn't seem likely.

The first tiebreaker is head to head(2-2), then division record if in the same division, which they aren't. Then conference record, where Indiana has the edge.

As Piston fans, you should definitely be hoping for Indiana. First of all, it would be a better environment (you all know why), but also: they are playing worse basketball than both Orlando/New Jersey. They have completely fallen apart over the past 2 months.

I want Indiana too. They don't have a solid point guard, which is very important, and I think that although it would be difficult to contain Jermaine O'Neal, it can be done.Plus, I want to rub it into PFF's face.

Indiana lost yesterday, which means it's getting less and less likely we'll get a lottery pick/play the Pacers in the 1st round. And Orlando has a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way with the Sixers, who've been playing well lately, so Orlando could lose that. Then Boston, then Washington without Butler and Arenas, and lastly Miami. Luckily, the Pacers schedule is easy the rest of the way with New Jersey, Atlanta, and Washington. I never thought I'd say this, but LETS GO PACERS!

Well, Orlando has pretty much locked up the last playoff spot with Indiana losing to New Jersey. The only way for the pick to be lottery is if Orlando loses to Boston, Washington, and Miami, and Indiana beats Atlanta and Washington. [IMG]
