On a plane to see the birth of his baby. Go get em Dame, you definitely earned it after giving us 42 minutes tonight. Time for Bazz to step up. It's the Grizzlies who are blatantly tanking, but they just beat the Wolves on the road.
Being a dad is the absolute best thing in the world. That first day is truly something special. I hope he spends as much quality time as he can with his boy during these next few days.
I had a feeling he was heading home when Stotts kept him in at the start of the 4th and played 42 minutes with a back to back tomorrow. Nice thing is Spurs and Nuggets lost tonight as well and we now basically have the tie breaker with NO and any other team if we end up tied with a team outside our division.
Yep, I remember when my son was born. What a night that was and I celebrated 2 days later on my birthday by going out water skiing and getting a concussion.
congrats to Dame. He deserves to take any time off with how hes been playing but for this especially. Could mean a loss tomorrow but oh well. CJ, Nurk and crew gotta step up.
It is indeed. My son was born 30 days premature. I spent most of the first day of his life in the NICU with him. I remember being scared to hold him because he was so small and fragile. But, once I did, I couldnt put him down.
This is so well-timed, against the league's 2nd-worst team, that I was thinking the same thing. Not a coincidence.
Okay so she is in labor. http://www.nba.com/article/2018/03/27/damian-lillard-miss-vs-grizzlies-birth-first-child
If only the game started at 4:00, then game time (usually known as Dame time) would be Wade Baldwin IV time.
