It was a friendly 'bub', not an unfriendly 'bub'. Cippy tells us it's hard to understand tone from written words, and I guess he's right.

Well, I guess it's alright. It does seen like a younger fella though. Perhaps nerd would do. Coach Prothro once referred to me as that fast nerd. I thought that was sort of cool.

How? Some people's vote mathematically matters more compared to others. That's the only way one could lose the popular vote and win the election. Unless that's how it's supposed to be designed, which is bullshit and panders to Republicans who have more pull in rural areas.

Well, the election has been from the beginning, an election by the states, each state by their weight, which does include their population position plus their value as a state. Even in the early days, they knew you could not let the street people of New York or Philadelphia dictate an important election.

True. But now we know that the states in the middle of the country have no value, so it's time to change the system.

Oh! Well now, I am thinking this is a momentary affliction, not by the heart in the middle but the states on the fringe.
I expect it will work through is some time. Working as designed.

It is working as designed. I agree with you there. However, you surely realize that minority rule rarely works out in the long run.

    Ha!
You make perhaps one too many assumptions. While you have one minority, and only god knows why, you also have another, but I my read, is that will be very temporary. Their values betray their core position and damned if they don't sound like me.

I have no idea what you are trying to say, so I'll just leave you with this thought:

His shtick is to try to intentionally force you to answer the way he wants you to. Simply because he refuses to accept other viewpoints that aren't mirrors of his own.
Unfortunately for him... Anyone with an iq higher than 12. Just laughs at him because he's clearly senile.

Poster not even factually true. Cuba has a national militia that all able-bodied adults join and they are armed. Don't really know much about gun laws in North Korea and doubt anyone else does.

    But who needs facts?

Two racist ammosexuals defaced and vandalized the monument to the 17 dead in Florida. They were caught by police with a carload of the mementos and tributes that had been placed there. Now the survivors have to put it back together.

An extremely poor design can work by design, but just because it works doesn't mean it's the best way either. Most engineers would understand this principle. If all the people had your mindset we would all be living in the early 1900's like you are doing.

Whatever you want to say about him, he's a man of his word and that's important to me. I say this in spite of the big differences he and I have had. I've met him and I'd trust him with my wallet.

Let's see, I like the design, and really love that it is working as designed. The design also has a provision for you guys that hate the design to change the design.
I do not think you have any chance what so ever the get the change you seek approved. But then, I doubt you even try.

But on a closer note, you mentioned a Ford engine, side oiler as if it were a good thing not long ago. What makes a side oiler worth a mention?

Ah! I gather yours is higher than 12? I suppose that is worth a chuckle, but it might not vouch for the clarity of your perception.

To keep it simple, the side oiler oils the main bearings first instead of the cam bearings. That way more oil gets to the main bearings to help prevent spinning a bearing due to poor lubrication.

As for design, if improvements are never made, then we continue down the same paths. If it was followed under your logic we would still be driving model T's because why improve the design as the old design was working wasn't it. We could also still have prop planes because that design worked.
