Huge win for the Clippers, it's great to see them stay alive and continue their hot streak. This was undoubtedly the biggest win of the year for them, IMO, but the most comforting thing was the play of Sam Cassell. He's one of the more underappreciated point guards of the past 15 years, he always comes up big when his team needs him. It was great to see Sam I Am come up big like he did, and it was nice to see the Clippers hang on for that victory, especially with the way Kobe was playing. It's gonna be a great race for the 8th seed, it's coming down to the wire and that's what I like to see. Who wants it more? We're about to find out.

WOW. Kobe didn't score the last eight minutes and forty five seconds of the game, going 0/5 with a turnover in that span. I saw him choking, didn't realize it was that bad though.

Dirk's a helluva player, but he's yet to get over that hump and prove that he's not only clutch, but can lead his team to a Championship. Losing the NBA Finals when they're up 2-0 is just completely unacceptable. Dirk'll probably get the MVP this year, but we'll see if he can actually prove himself in the Post-season and go all the way!

But Kobe, Luke, and Ronny are the only guys on the team who consistently show effort. I'm the biggest Lakers fan you'll meet, and I'll never give up on this team, but I can say honestly that this team does not deserve to call themselves a playoff team or a good team. Now I'm hoping to God that they prove me wrong, but as of now, it looks that way.

Had he made that free throw, we might be calling the Mavericks defending champions right now.

Dirk does miss free throws though not often. He missed one earlier that game as well. 90% is no gimme. He was clutch though in game 7 against the spurs making that free throws to take it to overtime. It gets annoying that Dirk gets singled out for choking more than anyone out there. Everyone chokes.

I'm not saying he's a choke artist. But in the Finals, the biggest stage of them all. He choked.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (mavsfan1000 @ Apr 13 2007, 12:24 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Yes he choked as well as many others. No argument there. Just like Kobe choked last night.</div>Yeah, but Kobe's much more proven in the clutch then Dirk is. Kobe's come thru in countless pressure situations. One lousy fourth quarter in a regular season game isn't gonna change that. Especially when he was the one who got them the lead.
