I’ve he hemmed and hawed over the idea of boycotts but I finally came to the conclusion that it’s just how to voice your opinion in the marketplace. As an individual we don’t have a big voice in society, especially against moneyed interests. However, band together and use our purchasing power to be our voice. It works for all sides if they can mobilize.
You are trying to tell this to a forum who are actively full of hypocrisy and apparently are morally superior to everybody in every way. This woman is an idiot who panders to the right on fox news. Simple. Unfortunately everybody on here gets too serious about this, she was a no name until she said shut up and dribble to Lebron and KD which was wrong but people actively gave her shine by always mentioning her name. Her show is trash. People have been speaking up about her before her shut up and dribble comments. She's a regular donkey of the day. The fact that her idiocy is JUST NOW losing sponsors is amazing.

We are all victims when people are silenced. Loss of a few sponsors that will pander to the masses is one thing. Loss of enough to effect a silence no good at all.
Oh man, I was busy at work and couldn't check in and see what was happening. I read another Yahoo article and the comments ran 100 to 1 for boycotting the sponsors who dropped her. They COULD all be Russians.....I suppose. Bullying a teenager? That's the consensus? Haha lololololol
Liked cuz her show probably is trash, don't watch it. The problem is that there are tons of people who like it or it wouldn't get any sponsors. I don't stay hooked to Twitter to feed my addiction, is there anything else she did besides say he whined about college? If that's bullying I'm literally the meanest person left on the planet.

What's the world come to when a professional shit-stirrer like Laura Ingram steps over a line and her sponsors listen to their customers and tell her loud and clear "we have shareholders and we don't like losing money. Keep your mouth shut for a few weeks, until this blows over and we'll talk."
Some how I think you are likely smart enough to know this is not quite as you say. If you can be pandered, then it will be so, if hint you like their action, then their will be more. You can never learn a thing from a voice that can't be heard. But if you can be pandered, and that is the reason a voice can't be heard, how can you learn and they learn you can't be pandered.
Just more signs of modern day mob rule that is why. Notice how every time something bad happens they want the person in charge fired every time. Cop shooting? Fire the chief! Every damn time. Twitter is like the women in Life of Brian waiting to stone someone.
