At best his arms were like 6'5-6'6". And wingspan doesn't allow you to move up a position. Jerry west never played small forward, and even if he did back then he certainly couldn't now. Can you imagine a 6'2" 175 lb guy trying to guard Lebron in the post? Shawn Marion?I'd be inclined to say that Ewing would even do better at small forward than west.
