He has never had GREAT hands, but is very gifted athletically and has a really strong upper body, which makes him hard to bring down if you do not go for his legs.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=qmQJzr-ibJoanother videowhat do you mean he never had "great" handsjust because he's missed some passes he's also made ALOT of catches..people are so quick to say he's never had great hands because of this season and the media coverage it got but he still managed to put up a 1000+ yard season
I thought that I was one of the only people who still thought that he's an all time great. I'd put him on my team anyday.
He's not that impressive anymore. It has nothing to do with his off the field stuff, he just wasn't clutch (no pun intended) at all. He had a ton of dropped passes.
yeah because he's slowly exiting his prime and had a hand injury this year..hes a 12 year vetbut he's still a top 10 receiver of all-time
Yeah, T.O is and has been my favorite football player for a long time now. Everyone seems to hate the guy and forget about what he does on the football field. He was hurt with his injury on his hand last season and they told him not to play, and yet he played. Yeah, he dropped a lot of balls but he also led the league in touchdowns with a bummed hand. Owens is top Wide receivers of all time, I can't agree more with that.
TO's good, but will never be the best. It's still debatable that whether Owens or Randy Moss has had the better career.-Jerry Rice-Lynn Swann-Cris Carter-Herman Moore-Michael Irvin-Tim Brown-Marvin Harrison-Art MonkAll better than Owens. But Top Ten is fair for Owens.

Marvin Harrison>Terrel OwensReggie Wayne>Terrel OwensMarvin and Wayne are guys who don't get in trouble and don't cause problems. They just go out and play football and keep to themselves off the field. Wayne and Harrison are also just as gifted athletically and work very hard.

He's also one of the greatest team cancers of all time. The guy ran the Eagles into the ground. I mean I'm in no way doubting his talent but the greatest players in any sport balance professionalism with talent. Owens is a complete idiot off the field and it has affected his career negatively. He's like the Artest of the NFL.
