Rapper Romeo gets full basketball scholarship from USC

He's a little teeny bopper rapper but he's not that bad of a basketball player..seems like his style is too AND1 to me though

Yeah I actually bothered reading the article on him in a previous SLAM and apparently he is pretty good. I'm definetly interested in seeing how he does.I looked it over on Rivals.com and he got a ranking of only 2 out of 5 stars so I'll be suprised if he even plays a minute in his college ball career

 

There was a show that followed his high school b-ball team a while back. I think the team was "P. Miller" or something like that, but they won a huge tourney in Vegas. The thing is, Romeo found some of the best ballers in the region and put them on his team to make himself look better. I'm sure he can ball, but I can't wait to see him get knocked around by rock-solid 6'10" centers. O.J. Mayo is the only recruit worth talking about for USC.

 

That article was incredibly poorly written.

 

ive never heard Romeo as an all-american...I dont believe this...some pics with him at USC?

But those other guys were awsome, and they were some of the best of the best, but they were there to help Romeo win that tournament. Romeo doesn't just inherit friends like that. He went out and found them for the show to get exposure. Romeo thinks he's A.I. just becuz he can dominate a couple of 14 year olds when he has full grown beasts on his team. No offense to his teamates, but I won't be seeing Romeo as a baller in college ever. :dribble:

This doesn't come as a surprise to me. Master P tried out with the Nuggets a few years back and almost made it. I doubt Romeo will do good though considering his height.

Kid got a basketball scholarship at USC and then everyones comments are like "who cares he sux and he sux at rapping wannabe" wow thats too funny hes gotta be good to play for usc
