One of the most beautiful drives in the world, can't there be just a few spots where you can pull over and enjoy the view and scenery unencumbered by barriers and obstructions? We're never going to be able to fucktard proof the world from themselves.

You can't roll off the cliff 'cause it's sloped upward before the dropoff. I guess you could fall asleep and accidentally drive over the cliff. But then you've got to look at how often that happens and I'll bet it's so extremely rare that they don't consider it worth the money spent. And then imagine how many places you'd have to protect against drunk driving and falling asleep. Would it be worth it all over the United States to protect on family every couple decades or so?

Imagine barrelling down that hill at about 55 mph, around those curves, first time you've been on this road, feeling just a little spacy after driving 300 milesYOU JUST DIED.

Well, I wouldn't be driving that fast on a windy road even in my youngest stupidest days and especially not after driving 300 miles. No, I'd have to have suicide in my mind to do that.

Just close the roads. Save people and the environment. No more traveling. You fuckers are stuck in the NW... enjoy the rain.

Oh my I miss my grammas well water. In the arboretum by her house you could see the 5 different layers of soil and clay in the area. Her well was a natural brita filter reservoir.

You could wash the car and rinse it off and leave, didn't know what water spots were back then....

Is there anything more delicious that a cold glass of pure water? No, not really, but raw milk comes close.

Well, I've now read the thread and the articles. The evidence is all in where the mounds of dirt are in the tracks.

The wheels must have spun up to 90 mph in the seconds the car spent in the air. The $2900 per month they got for the boy--should have been as much to cover expenses (psychiatrist, etc.) as it was a paycheck.

I left Bandon last fall, with tanks full of my well water. 60 feet down to a pee gravel seam where the water rises to about 12 from the top of the well. The best water I have ever had anywhere.
I ran out of this water on the boat. in February. When I bring the boat back up North, I intend to come back into Bandon before proceeding up to the Columbia, just so I can fill the tanks with this water again. Damn! That California water is Bad!

But... if we banned high capacity cars this never would have happened!

Tahoe water was fabulous. Crystal Geyser bottled water from California is good.

Las Vegas tap water is horrible unless filtered. Plus a little test site uranium or something like that for flavor.

Or we could get rid of seat belt laws, since they clearly failed to save lives in this instance.

But it's the ability to do so much damage in such a short period of time! If we banned all cars that were over 2 seats, it would drastically reduce the number of car deaths every year.
