Politics FBI raids office of Trump attorney

This is yuge!

The seized records include communications between Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen, which would likely require a special team of agents to review because conversations between lawyers and clients are protected from scrutiny in most instances.
It is very hard to get a judge to sign off on a search warrant of a lawyer, especially the lawyer for the current president.

Oops, my bad, not actually Trump's lawyer.

It just goes to show you how rotten that SOB is.

So we're pretty much at the end and Stormy Daniels is what we're gonna get?

Ok.

Ok.

Nope. You don't raid a lawyer's office over a campaign finance violation. There's a bigger game afoot.

any speculation on how the stormy daniels info they seized is part of some bigger fraud?

I would speculate that it's a sideshow, and not the main attraction under the big top.

Better be or this is just getting silly. And, wtf would they have in his office that they wouldn't have just destroyed or moved?

What are your thoughts on what the Daniels info is going to uncover? It would need to be like uber serious to get the warrant, so doesn’t that mean that this is more than a sideshow?

I would have fired Mueller way way way back. Said so here somewhere.
Why would you have fired Mueller? Thats a very bad precedent to set and if your guilty no reason to fire him and if you are guilty that would just speed up the process's. I guess I can see doing it if your guilty and its the only out you see is to fire him and try to trick everyone and sweep it under the rug.

No bright person would have anything left for the FBI to raid.

But these people are not the brightest. They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists.

Reporting is that the warrant is not primarily about Daniels.

Something I read a month ago is that there are $129,999 in billings to Trump rallies from LLC's that Coen setup that are similar to the one that he set up to pay off Stormy. If that is how Coen paid himself back that not only makes it campaign fraud, it makes the entire investigation fall under RICO.

The paparazzi lingering outside the Loews Regency on Park Avenue, hoping to get a photo of U.F.C. fighter Conor McGregor, appeared not to notice the stream of F.B.I. agents who entered the New York hotel early Monday morning, as they made their way up to the room where the president’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, has been staying.

If your attorney makes an agreement on your behalf, never, ever, ever categorically and publicly deny knowing anything about the agreement, thereby exposing your attorney to search and subpoena without being able to invoke attorney-client privilege.

What would anyone have done about it?

I don't think Trump cares about precedent.

If I knew I was innocent I'd have fired anyone who thought about doing this if it was within my power.

If I was guilty I'd definitely fire him no question. You'd be stupid not to.
