    Can anyone remember a more important final game of teh season at home? Not me.

    I expect the moda center to be out of control.. especially with them inviting us. :devilwink:

    We could still lose hca.

    Most seasons the last game bares little to no consequence for most teams. But this year alot rides on this game.

    Not sure. I gave up trying to follow everything.im just gonna go to the game and yell my ass off.

    Im just saying that i think its been a while since the last game of the season at home had any consequence to the seeding.

    True--if OKC wins, Portland hosts the NOP/SAS winner in the first round, regardless.

    What? I thought if SAS wins they jump us in the standings - we'd play them but without HCA. If NOP wins, then we'd play them with HCA.

    Ohhhhh, I think we're assuming different outcomes for us tonight. I'm assuming we lose, which would put us in the 5th seed assuming SAS wins, or 4th is NOP wins.

    Took a minute for me to get this. Thanks @KingSpeed for your patience. If if we lose if SAS win and OKC wins, alk 3 teams will end the season tied. So if it was just us and SA tied SA would get the 4th, but because three teams are tied it works differently. The best head to head between the three teams wins. We have won the most between them so we get it

    Are we 100% sure that Portland would HOST?

    I know Portland would be the 4 seed, but I can't find anywhere that states that the top 4 seeds are guaranteed home court. In the past, 4 seeds have not had home court.

    I think they changed that, but I'm not sure.
    If SAS win, we would have identical records. SAS won the series head-to-head. Does that H2H advantage give them home court even as a 5th seed?
