    Even better would be New Orleans Jazz, Utah Lakers, and Los Angeles getting a new name more representative of the city like "Silicone", "Gridlock", or "Really-I'm-An-Actor".

    When the Pelicans were the Hornets it would have made so much sense to make Utah the Hornets and New Orleans the Jazz. I had heard that hornets are pretty abundant around Salt Lake City.

    I haven't heard that, but they are the Beehive State. The Mormons love the hive mentality and admire the hardworking honey bees who do their jobs for the benefits of the hive.

    I think Saints makes sense, because the official name of the Mormon church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
