Who the hell is this guy? He just lit up the Bucks yesterday with 30 points with 6-8 3pt. land. He also added 9 rebounds. So far in the last 8 games he's been averaging 19.6 PPG with 59% FG and 51% from 3pt. land. Also 5 rebounds a game.
This guy is a great story. He played his professional ball in Argentina before coming to the NBA. The Bobcats signed him as a free agent earlier this year, he's really got some talent. He has good size at 6' 9'', can shoot outside, penetrate a little. In March he averaged 12 pts, 5 boards, while shooting 59% FG and 48 3P%. Also this guy's personal life has been hell. He lost his mother, two sisters in a car accident than his father died of a heart attack like 2 weeks later. It's crazy the sh*t this guy has gone through and he's playing the best basketball of his life probably. Really a good story and I hope the Bobcats sign him to a long-term deal, I think he could be a very beneficial offensive player for them.
I know, late in the season he has come out of nowhere and has been producing......big time!If he had these numbers all year, he would definitely be the ROY.
Yeah, he just emerged out of no where. Dude's from Argentina, I know that. I've seen him play once or twice. He's a skilled shooter, especially from the corner...I havn't seen him have one of his huge games though.
Saw him play during the olympics when they won. And he didn't look that great to me, but was a good rebounder. Now that Ive been seeing so many of his highlights during the bobcats game, he's a good player. He can possibly get at least 15+PPG next year and close to a double double if he continues this up. He was a good pickup for the bobcats.
I hope he can keep this up and have a successful career in the NBA. He deserves it after all that stuff that happened to him with his mom, girl friend, and dad all dying in like 2 weeks.
This guy looks real good, has absolutely been tearing it up. Could be a potential star next year. If so, man the Bobcats would actually be real good real soon...they might have caught a break!
It's funny that you mention Herrmann in this topic, a few weeks ago when he had that big game against Sacramento I predicted him to carry on that confidence for the rest of the season. I love his playing style, he can do it all offensively. The thing that impresses me the most about his game is the fact that he's able to knock down the 3 pointer with consistency. He's been playing major minutes lately, he logged over 40 minutes 3-4 times in the last 2 weeks alone. Herrmann is a good rebounder, he shoots a high percentage from the field, he can knock down the 3, and he's a decent passer. The Bobcats might have found a hidden gem in free agency. In case anybody didn't know, Herrmann has been through ALOT recently. He lost his 2 sisters, his girlfriend, and his mom and dad in tragic deaths all within 2 years of each other. I couldn't imagine dealing with major losses like that and having the patience to focus on basketball. It makes me respect the guy so much more.Stats during the last 17 games:17.6 ppg5.6 rpg60% FG48% 3PFG60% from the field, 48% from three. This guy is insane.
Wow this guy could be big in the league! I only heard of him like 2 weeks ago and knew that he was playing alright, but with those numbers.. Especially his shooting percentage is incredible.

I remember in November when Bobcats came to the palace I remember seeing him on the bench and it was so funny because he was on IR and once the team came out they had told him to go to the Pistons bench instead of the visitors bench so he's over there sitting watching the team warmup and the Pistons come out and he looked so confused he didn't know where to sit. I never expected to see him make such a impact, when I first heard the name Herrmann I thought it was someone they had signed like in February or something who had just signed on and was playing really good. Because the Pistons wrapped up their season series with them in January I haven't had the chance to see him play but he seems like a really exciting player to watch.

Bobcats hate him. He was supposed to be another garbage time guy. They were looking to tank as well, methinks. But he suddenly blew up and won them a few games and their hopes of a great pick slipped away.
