OT What if we don’t look at an individual case but at trends and statistics?

The article concludes it’s because of racism yet there’s is no evidence at all supporting that it is actual racism. Serena Williams is with an evil white man, the doctors were obviously shit in her situation, and I don’t know if you noticed but a lot of doctors these days are shit. Poorer people often eat worse as well. You take no consideration into these cases whether it’s weight or poor health. You just believe this nonsense that it’s racism. With literally no evidence. Dumbest article I ever read. The New York Times aren’t fake news but they have been known to push narratives and follow the left wing narrative. This type of shit is toxic to spread and is one of the biggest issues with society today. It goes with what I said from the beginning. Play victim, don’t look within our cultures and people and the issues prevalent. Just point fingers at others. It’s easy. It’s the white mans fault. Simple. It’s what anybody with issues do. People with addictions, obese people. Instead of taking responsibility for their actions they blame others and go figure we also make excuses for obese people in today’s society and say “big is beautiful” when really it’s not beautiful by any means and is dangerous to health. Exactly. My thought is that it’s largely genetic. I read the whole article and all this writer gives you is statistics but none of it concludes that it’s due to racism. That makes no sense. Forget the fact most black mothers are single mothers because the dad is either in prison or was abusive and bounced. Yeah that has nothing to do with it, or the genetic and cultural factor, being poor, etc. I would like to see people take responsibility for once. Stop blaming others for their issues or short comings. I don’t care what color you are, but certain stereotypes are true with all colors. Certain things have become acceptable within each color and culture. I don’t walk around choosing to look at it that way but if you want me to dive deep in it, I know the statistics and have seen enough documentaries and researched myself to know that it’s cultural acceptances. These shitty cycles. Nothing else.

I was reading one of the articles claiming racism killed black babies and one mom named Ebony had high blood pressure since she was 11.

Another one says stress hormones cause preterm births. Then it say that black women are most likely to be the sole bread winner in their households. They have to work. Work fucking sucks and stresses almost anyone out.

Apparently West African immigrants babies are normal and their grandchildren are lower birth weight. Richard Davis says this is PROOF that it isn't genetics.

Hmmmm, weird. Wonder how many West African women immigrate here by themselves? I bet they come with their husbands, that would seem likely. So, West African fathers too.

Then when their children grow up they might I don't know, just possibly they have babies with African Americans? Then genetics could have a role wouldn't you think...and Americans shitty diets too huh? Salt salt salt everything.

Wells Fargo is indeed a bank to avoid. Not a good place to do business. But I do not quite buy the spin of targeting minorities.
Let me say it this way, WF is not a good place to do business regardless of your race. They do not give a shit what color you are when ripping you off.

Just a quick check on Banks here in Oxnard. Well Fargo leads in number of branches, with B of A 2nd, and US Bank next.
80% Hispanic population, so do they cater to the minorities centers? I would speculate, it is true.

 

Target by knowing they could screw them more most likely. More desperate customers, instead of telling them no they fuck em over. I don't particularly care for banks in general so I wouldn't be surprised.

 

Well, they do provide way better service that the multitude of check cashing, quick loan establishment that exist here all over town. Places that charge $10 bucks to cash a pay check written by a well know local farmer or business. Or will make a Pay Day cash loan for two weeks for a 12% fee. People waiting in line on the sidewalk at these places too.

 

My experience with the check cashing place is limited to a white guy I worked with who didn't have a car. We'd go to lunch on Fridays and I'd have to take him to Sunset Station to cash his check and then Money Tree to pay off his loans.

He had a 1200 a month child support in California and no license from DUIs if I remember correctly. Needed 1000 bucks to get his license back. Couldn't afford that but he could buy a 400 dollar gaming monitor for World of Warcraft and a 400 dollar gaming chair, and a guitar and any other crap he wanted.

I thought about loaning him money myself but I didn't want to deal with it.

 

A wise decision.

 

I would have charged him 70 percent of what they did but still not worth it.

 

Once in awhile, when I'm bored, I decide to check out what's going on the OT section of the forum.

Reading a thread like this puts an end to that notion real quick.
